Bird watching
Besides the outstanding conditions for turtle observation, Luna Azul offers a very interesting bird and monkey life. Go on a hike through the tropical forest of the Biological Reserve surrounding the hotel and along Rio Rosario to the beaches - the Howler Monkeys will accompany you!


Beach and surf
Hotel Luna Azul is close to the very beautiful beaches of Ostional (1 km) with excellent surfing conditions and to Playa San Juanillo (3,5 km), 4 romantic tropical bays protected by a reef, 3 of them with white and one with black sand.
The excellent surfer’s beach Playa Guiones in Nosara is a 25 minutes drive from Luna Azul.
