From San José (5 hours):
Take the Interamerican Highway to the north, direction
Liberia. After 125 km you leave the Interamerican into the direction of
Nicoya for the Tempisque Bridge.
From Nicoya you have two possibilities: Via Santa Cruz - 27 de Abril - Playa Lagarto - Marbella -
San Juanillo - Playa Ostional or
via Nosara (direction Sámara) to Playa Ostional.
=> From May to November you have to take the northern
route via Santa Cruz - Marbella - San Juanillo.
From Liberia Airport (2 hours):
Drive south to Santa Cruz (Route 21). Just before the
city make a right turn to 27 de Abril - Playa Lagarto - Marbella - San
Juanillo - Playa Ostional.
